THE ARCHITECT
For justice – time is stealing apace.”
I am the man they call the President’s brain
Enjoyed flourishing in fortune and fame,
Loved watching the evening news
Seeing my critics having the blues

Victories in five elections
For me, there was no rejection,
Asperity in my planned condescension
Left our opponents with great apprehension

Time changes when sin catches up with you
I am in a paroxysm and know not what to do,
Ordered by my superiors to go out and leak
Lying in my depositions, my future is bleak

Sing I will, when hand-cuffs touch my bone
Be sure and know, I am not going down alone,
My buddy’s indictment, he spilled the beans
And razor wire and iron bars are in my dreams!

All that is done in the dark, eventually, God brings to light. His slowness to act is out of mercy and not of weakness!
