DANCE WITH ME
- So
many years of sacrifice
- Thank God for no avarice,
- Always trying to make things right
- For others to have some light
-
- Hoping
in this world for sanity to prevail
- But thus far, to no avail
- What makes man so wretched a mortal?
- Despite being made by the Immortal
-
- Now,
I just want to live
- Empty inside, I have no more to give
- From whence and who cast my lot?
- Destitute I am, in this unending rot
-
- O!
How I long to dance again
- Be it in sunshine or in rain,
- No one knows the sadness I feel
- Willingly, unto my God I yield!

“My mind is
absorbed with the sufferings of man. Since I was twenty-four
there never [has been] any vagueness in my plans or ideas as
to what God’s work was for me.” (Florence Nightingale) As
for me, this realization came about when I was fifteen!
