ICE COLD WORLD

Look into my world

It’s sad and cold,

And what do you see?

A life of misery

 

Answering to life’s call

I continue to fall,

Unable to say no

But further, I cannot go

 

Giving all and then some

Like in the desert Sun,

My inside is empty

Is life just futility?

 

I look to West

But find no rest,

Afraid to look South

For I am steadfast in doubt!

 

But I am calling unto Heaven

For there, I will find my haven!
