Dedicated to “Our Children’s fate”

When darkness fades

with the morningSun

 

I often wonder! stand or run?

 

With each new day comes many blessings,

but realities of life is quite disturbing

 

Another day of killings and maiming,

with millions of people hungry

and starving

 

Monies are being spent on futile

expeditions, while children are behind

in education

 

What I see do you see with me?

What our children’s future will be?

 

The world we found is it better today? Or

do you think we have gone astray?

 

My hope for our children is fading

more and more

 

For the world today,

is worst than before!

The oil in the lamps of hope is burning faster as the wick’s glitter recedes. As a people, we should join together and refill the oil, so that our children can have brighter and better tomorrows.
