PSYCHOTIC JEALOUSY
Jealousy, a word betwixt with tragedy
Far different from serendipity,
Countless years right in front of you
Is that special one with love so true

Always giving all and then some
Complacent we are of that unique one,
Fleeting time but steadfast devotion
Lackadaisical we are of their emotion

No longer can they wait
Feelings released through another’s gate,
No more life filled with grief
Happy they are beyond belief

Now all alone and feeling low
Saddened we are letting that love go,
Amazing how we see with such clarity
When looking through the lens of psychotic jealousy!

AUTHOR’S COMMENTS
Too often, too many times, in a relationship people become complacent taking for granted sincere, honest love that transcends into dedication, care and compromise, until it is too late! From my experience in life that complacency is more prevalent in men than in women. Not all men but many, physically and verbally dispense abuse time and time again; their spouse, fiancé, partner or by whatever name they identify the woman, even sometimes with egregious definition.

Then the day comes when that loved one walks out of the doldrums and misery that has literally scarred their life for far too long. It is only then the “abuser” sees with such clarity through the lens of psychotic jealousy, the blessing they abused that is now permanently out of their life. For many abusers they end up with worth in the millions and thousands of regrets, inheriting the torment they once permeated.
