SCATTY
The travails of life is very trying
Even when on your knees and praying,
Hopelessness often seems to monopolize
Dreams and hopes you have rationalized

Often people claim how much they care for you
Whilst in their presence you believe it’s true,
Telling so many stories behind your back
You wonder when they jumped the track

What is the catalyst that drives their souls?
Lost you are to ascertain their goals,
Where are the benefits of their so many lies?
As you sit and ponder, why or why?

I shall pass this way but only one time
I pray the Lord to keep me sublime,
Imperfect I am but I can’t live this way
No matter what they do, or what they say!

Often times my imagination lends way to how a Tartar can be more at home on Cheapside, than me living amongst the haunts of cruelty and hypocrisy from the ones who always permeate: I love you; I care about you; I wish you well. This troubling reality indulges me to wonder! How many masks people keep in their hidden closet? Thus I conclude that it is vain when conscience is aroused to fly to feelings and evidence for comfort!
