TAKEN OUT OF SHEOL

To all who seek true peace
My distress cried out with pangs from my soul
Dear Lord, take thine son out of the depths of sheol,
And the voice of the Lord said, "Open the gates of Hades
For this my prodigal son, requested of me"
With agony and a contrite heart I prayed
Lord, leave me not, lest I again be dismayed,
Oh what pangs do wretched mortals feel
When unto unrighteous paths we yield
But with precious love comes the voice of the Lord
My dear child, unto Me, come, for I am thy God,
My precious blood has atoned thee from sin
Over Satan - go - show others how to win
On Calvary's cross, the full price was paid
Forgiveness sought in my name, shall never be delayed,
The condemned man's cry to be remembered in My Kingdom
That "day" brought him, eternal life, joy and freedom
If today you walk in darkness, where there is no light
Call on "Jesus", for where He is, it's eternally bright!
