TWISTS AND TURNS

Often times there is no return
To the road that leads to home,
Too many twists and turns
I am fraught, my soul burns

So many obstacles
Of daily battles,
Problems get bigger
Chances of winning get lesser

This maiden voyage
Carrying so much baggage,
Around the bend, is there a well?
Distance gets farther, I cannot tell

Looking to the North
I see no Forth,
Gazing to the South
The more I’m in doubt!

O! When does it end?
Perhaps, when the Lord descends!
