DIVINE LOVE
An emanation of Divine Grace
From Christ, who wore God's face,
Miserable people are we! when we fail to pray
We know not what we might do or say

An overflowing of the Great Heart of God
When he walked the earth, as Saviour and Lord,
In our sins when we are perishing
Unconditional love, He is always giving

In defiance of the blackest tomorrows
He is the placater of all our sorrows,
God is the preserver of all our sustenance
All he asks is our contrite repentance

Even if the skies themselves be rent in twain
Our prayers shall never be in vain
If God does not save his people under heaven
Then heaven, shall be our place of reception!
