May I dream for just a while?

Head on your shoulders, resting a sigh

Will I ever see your face again?

Time and distance has no end

Clinging to hope on a rainbow

Savings dreams for tomorrow,

A tear in my heart from missing you

Guarding our love, constant and true

A Capulet; A Montague, circumstance dictated

Their love kept hidden or stand deserted

Separated, yet, together still

Love’s destiny, is always fulfilled

The moment we met, a path strewn with thorns

Despite the pain, love weathered the storms

Even not knowing what tomorrow holds

True love remains, brave and bold

Perhaps there’s a lesson for all to see

Battles are won when love is the key

Life is love and love is life

Two hearts in love can endure any strife!
