LOST AND FOUND
A Doll that’s placed on a shelf
To search for love somewhere else,
How does she turn her heart around?
Instead it’s placed in lost and found

The Wall of Life, words are written
Predestined tasks, that’s been given
Her nest she built in his heart
Lovingly structured, never torn apart

In her world she creates solitary
Keeping her heart safe from jeopardy
Wonders if dreams are for those who sleep
And life is just for us to keep

Broken barriers can be mended
But not, if left unattended
Imprinted footsteps on the sand
Washes away without a plan

The will of love can conquer all
Climbing that cliff after we fall,
Ship to port, resting calm
Safe at Bay, away from harm
