LOVE THAT’S COMPLETE

Love and beauty are not apart

True love comes from the heart

Beauty comes from within

Love and honesty shall win

 

Will love look me in the eye?

Without ever saying goodbye

How I ache to relax and rest

Without always being put to the test

 

Those fancy frills are a momentary thrill

That inevitably fades on the trip downhill

Their beautiful tresses and fancy dresses

A superficial treat that impresses

 

All I can give is just me

Love and truth in all honesty

Tiresome it is, to compete

We all need love that’s complete!
