CONQUEROR IN CHAINS
To My Precious Lord
When my hands were chained and my feet in stocks While cast down in the dungeon, I fell upon the rock, In life's despair, turmoil and pain, I saw the light It was brighter than day and shined through the night
My agony, pain and troubles disappeared so fast In amazement, I wondered, if my peace would last, So I looked to the Lord and I saw His face Worry not my son, for I have blessed thee with grace
The "wrongs" and the "rights", sometimes blind thine sight But I work it for your good, with all of my might, My mysteries are divine from everlasting to everlasting So thou must learn to accept, all that life brings
I
am omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, all of the time And thou shall see my wonders, for it is always divine, Stay on the road of righteousness, it leads to eternal life Only then thou can overcome this world of strife
Now that you have found me, never let me go And thus, this thine sojourner's life, my blessings on you,
I bestow!
