GLORIA PATRI

To all the people of the world
Convocations in the wilderness singing Gloria excelsis
These liturgies revert back to the days of Genesis
The doxology are from those who know the meaning of Shalom
But hardly from the ones' whose language is idiom,
Even those that are maligned and called Scythian
Know the disparity of good and evil, God and Satan
God hears not the prayer of those whose gain comes furtively
Who leave their victims without hope and in despondency,
More than profundity we need contriteness and not consternation
For in humility we find unmerited grace and God's salvation,
The powers at hand and the powers to be that practice dichotomy
In the final analysis, with certainty, they end in tragedy,
Lord let our diadems be from Thy Glorious and mighty hand
May we please thee O! Lord and be like Job, the righteous man,
Make our hearts rent when the wicked lurch and do such wrong
Lift our hearts in prayer and by Thine Grace make us strong
May all the peoples of the world know that you are Lord and God
Help us to know your Omni-presence is greater than the lightning rod,
As "to forgive" translates safana and "most merciful" is rahman
Arabs, Jews or Gentiles, God loves, all of his creation...
