INTREPID
- Gazing
at the daffodil
- I watch the evening shadows fall,
- Wondering where the day has gone
- But surely, a new one will be borne
-
- Hopes
and dreams are like the days
- For they come in many ways,
- Truly, life is an unanswered quiz
- And I accept it for what it is!
-
- Not
knowing what life holds in store
- Or who or what would be at my door,
- I know not if it would be joy or sorrow
- But I know, who holds tomorrow
-
- So,
to Him I softly sing
- I even hear the Church bells ring,
- And all alone I sit at home
- Contented, with no desire to ever roam!
