LIGHT – EFFULGENT SPLENDOR
- Light
in the Scripture is the emblem of happiness
- Even in the midst of severe sadness,
- Jesus’ light is a cluster of the grapes of Eshcol
- Despite life’s storms that are wet and cold

- Light
is also the cause of the sapphire’s beauty
- And with God, our parity treaty
- Naught of beauty is left when light is gone
- Without light, dark providences are born

- Light
is also the emblem of knowledge
- By leaning on God, for we are made in His image
- He touches us with the wand of His love
- We become, caring and a harmless Dove

- Though
crimson stained we have a consolation
- From Calvary’s Cross, that selfless crucifixion
- Whatever there may be of effulgent splendor?
- Our Lord, is the ultimate giver!
