SERMON ON THE MOUNT
- Another
week has just gone by
- I am peering up to a cloud filled sky,
- The Sun is having its share of struggles
- As I try to confront my new day’s battles

- Why
is life’s path so twisted and rough?
- I ask myself, when, enough is enough?
- Looking back over the thousands plus days
- I hope I did my best, in all my ways
-
- Yet,
many things are still not right
- I am hoping for a spark of light,
- What would it take to overcome these shadows?
- O! How I yearn, for better tomorrows

- Forcing
to breathe a breath of sigh
- Perhaps, this mountain is way too high,
- But, thinking about the Sermon on the Mount
- Despite life’s saccade, on His word I can count!
