TEMPTED AND TRIED
- When
I am in the night of trial
- I do not pretend to be in denial,
- Extra grace is my request
- As I lean on Jesus’ chest
-
- Though
now my, head is crowned with troubles
- The power of God will remove the rubbles,
- These hands are filled with a tearful cry
- God’ mercy wipes them dry
-
- My
garments are soiled with stained dust
- Jehovah Jira will remove the rust,
- How despicable my troubles will seem
- On the day I hold, my Lord’s garment seam
-
- These
worldly trials are just momentary afflictions
- For with Yahweh, I have great expectations
- To have so sure, so comforting a hope
- Most certainly, this is no joke!
