WE’RE ALL GOD’S CHILDREN
- For
a mighty power as the United States
- It is no problem knocking down the enemy’s gates,
- At the inception of the fighting
- You knew who was winning

- But
the other side of the story
- Oligarchy did not tell us, whilst selling their glory
- It is about the people
- Caught up in this debacle

- Now,
soldiers are dying every day
- Out of this chaos we can’t find our way,
- Innocent Iraqis are being blown apart
- A child is killed; downtrodden is the mother’s heart

- The
pain we feel when our blood is shed
- Isn’t it the same when others are dead?
- Perhaps we would recognize we all came from God
- And making peace would please the Lord!
