ANIMALS, PART OF GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD

"To Jehovah Jira"
In that great land called the Sahara
Looking at the animals fills you with laughter,
The Giraffes are the tallest, they stretch towards the sky
While the Elk, they skip and jump so high
The lions with their stately walk, creates asunder
And the fascinating Tigers, their roars are like thunder
The Rhinoceroses with one or two keratinous horns
The Elephants, so gigantic, how pretty, when their little ones are born
And the Jaguar, O! So beautiful, but have a mighty stare
Makes the little Buffalos, so vulnerable, they are filled with fear
Seeing all the multitude of animals, part of God's Creation
For moments, you are so happy, you are blessed with a taste of Heaven...

Author's Comments:
"Love all God's creation, the whole and every grain of sand in it. Love every leaf, every ray of God's light.” [FYODOR DOSTOEVSKY] [This poem was written for the children who sent me messages that most of my poems are difficult to understand. I do understand their predicament, thus I wrote this poem and another one about Animals, for their purpose].
