ASKANCE OCHLOCRACY

To The United States of America
We are enjoying the show and the truth we don't want to know
Economic troubles are evident because jobs are falling like snow,
We say not a word for we are all called patriots
We want not to be labeled disloyal by the sitting bureaucrats?

Prior to this ochlocracy by the Supreme Court's power
We did not live in fear and our country was a mighty tower,
Intelligence information was given to this administration
Of a realistic threat of unimaginable terror to our nation

With impunity for themselves but arrogant disdain for others
Myopia prevailed, the information set aside, no one bothered,
Hindsight is where people hide when they do not want to face the facts
Perhaps with a little humility they could have prevented the attack

The hunt began for the master perpetrator of this unspeakable crime
But re-election around the corner the oligarchy was short on time,
War on terrorism must be addressed both symptom and cause
We can't keep bombing claiming we are right or just because

With imputed malfeasance they initiated Iraq's destruction
Substituting Saddam for Osama, to them, was justified retribution,
For every suicide bomber that kills and is also dead and gone
Having no other redress, a thousand more are born...
