COLUMBIA'S PLIGHT OF FIRE
To the families and friends of Columbia's crew
With so much hope, dreams and aspirations Columbia's crew of seven, lift off for the heavens, On lift off, foam broke off from the massive tank And unto the left wing, it sure did embank
So with man's knowledge they cautiously ascertained That this broken foam could not possibly bring pain, Thus, these caring and humble seven, reached their
destination It was magic and miracle in that glorious space-station
With so many experiments for the "better of mankind" Columbia's return for so many, was anxious but sublime, With a job well done, so much accomplished by these seven
hands They boarded the shuttle, and headed for this our promised
land
But God's mysteries are sometimes difficult to discern For it was not his "will" to this earth they return, These precious lives, I believe, were our oblation To the one who created and controls this vast creation
This tragedy, though sad, was a message to the Whitehouse
oligarchy To become humble in prayer and supplication, and stop their
debauchery...
