THE PROVACTIVE MAN - YASIR
ARAFAT
Though
he had resources, he lived not in palaces But lived amongst his people, in the slum and in the
trenches, Called irrelevant and a terrorist by the world's bigots Killing and maiming, in the name of justice, aren't they
just despots?
It's wrong - suicide bombers killing innocent Israelis Equally despicable, is Israel dropping bombs on Palestinian
cities, This "Martyr" who fought for his people's freedom Was denied his last wish, to be buried in East Jerusalem
Our 43-rd President refused to negotiate with this
Palestinian Leader While embracing the machinations of Sharon, his "aven"
brother, How can these sons of "Sitnah" commit so much tragedy? And lay claim that they believe in the Almighty
El Shaddai is watching all of this perpetual destruction Elohim, this Yahweh, will certainly bring retribution, Jehovah who has numbered even the hairs on our heads Will call into account, if not in this life, but certainly
when we're dead...

Author's Comments:
"[This poem may be considered by some to be very
controversial, but I make no apologies for what I have
written in the poem and in the comments. Webster's
dictionary says that democracy means 'to respect others even
when you disagree with them.' Thus I will be sure to respect
the rights of all who may disagree with me]. The
Palestinian's immense grief and sorrows began subsequent to
1967. And though there have been numerous resolutions and
calls by the United Nations for Israel to withdraw from the
occupied territory, to date some thirty seven years later,
Israel still remains occupiers. During President Jimmy
Carter's stewardship as President, there were only about
four thousand Jewish settlers living in the occupied
territory. As of the end of 2003 there are over four hundred
thousand Jewish settlers living in the occupied territory.
Yet this nation that always seems to portray 'Justice for
All' and gives Israel Three billion dollars per year, except
for some hyperbole about the continued developments of
Jewish cities, we have done nothing to put an end to the
Israeli occupation. If people want to know the reason that
causes the hatred in the Middle-East, you do not have to
look any further than this unresolved problem. No other
country in the world but America can bring about two
separate states, an Israeli and Palestine States. But we
continue to sanction every thing that Ariel Sharon does.
Even when he is absolutely, positively wrong, and motions
are made at the United Nations, we either veto the motion or
abstain. What kind of signal does that send to the Arab
world where hatred for us is on the rise. We prop up
dictators like the Saudis, who by the way, were fifteen of
the hijackers who wrought destruction on America on
September 11, 2001. This is a situation where the
subjugators vehemently propagate malfeasances and the
subjugated, out of arrogance and ignorance, spew their own
egregious machinations. This type of suffering that embodies
hopelessness, despair, anguish and the likes, is really only
felt with comprehensible impact by the sufferer and our
Creator, El Shaddai." I believe with all my heart and soul
that if we, America the only nation that can solve the
problem between the Israelis and the Palestinians, would
work honestly and fairly to resolve this problem, we would
see to some great degree, the demented terrorism and
fanatical growing problem, placated to a great degree. I
can't and I won't say all of the terrorism will be abated,
because somewhere, in some part of the world, there will
always be someone out there who would carry out some evil
act. We have nothing to lose but all to gain, by resolving
this problem, now and forever. President Arafat is dead,
perhaps, just perhaps, what he could not do in life, he just
may in death. [For those who would judge the poem and the
statements herein contained based on my name Sheriff Ali, be
sure and know I have been of the Pentecostal faith since I
was fifteen, I am now fifty-three. I do not only believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, but I believe that
Jesus Christ is God, the Incarnate God who walked among
men]." |
