PIOUS PLATITUDES
- Man’s
ingenuity can discover advanced technology
- But it is illogical in condoning egregious debauchery,
- Love for humanity comes only from God’s Kingdom
- For there is where you find true wisdom
-
- The
recent conflict is a symptom and not the cause
- We’re blindly supporting Israel, just-because
- No demand for them to adhere to so many UN Resolutions
- The Arabs have now drawn their own conclusions
-
-
- Pious
platitudes are proverbs composed of ashes
- Whilst human lives are being shattered, like broken dishes
- No mercy for the helpless plebeian’s cruelty
- Their lot, guided missiles with impunity
-
-
- My
dog in this fight is justice for all
- All of God’s nations whether big or small,
- Worthless are our proclamations of democracy with words by
mouth
- For there are no sincere deeds and actions, and that is
without a doubt!

A vein of good is to
be found in every “mind” of evil, thus we should
covet not Jonah’s gourd, but rest in Jonah’s God. I
support 100% the Israeli people’s right to live
without fear in their home-land, but I also support
100% the Arab’s right, namely, Palestine, Lebanon
and Syria, to live without fear from Israel’s
innumerable munitions provided to them by the United
States. Much is being made about UN Resolution 1559
– while no one in the American or the Israeli
Governments speak about all of the UN Resolutions
that demand Israel’s complete withdrawal from “all”
of the occupied territories. This has been the case
even before President Bush took office in 2001, the
inception of which, said Resolutions, dates back to
1967. The United States is quick to demand complete
adherence to UN Resolutions on everyone, except
Israel. And unless the United States Government
demands that Israel adhere to all of the UN
Resolutions, this conflict between Israel and its
neighbors, will continue to escalate – eventually
bringing total catastrophe to the entire Middle-East
region. The United States is big on “braggadocio”
about being the world’s only super power, but if
they would use that same vituperation in an
impartial and even handed manner, much good and
stability in that region, would be the result. In a
recent Poll, 50% of the Americans say they have
sympathy for Israel, and 9% said they had sympathy
for Arabs. That is amazing when one thinks how much
we exact from the Arabs, whilst giving 3.8billion
dollars in aid, annually to Israel.
- “We” in the West,
who are so cognizant of the deplorable plight of the
conditions under which the Palestinian people live
and only show 9% mercy for them; “We are nothing
short of being capricious despots”. Perhaps we
should try and remember John Bunyan’s aphorism;
“That which is last, lasts forever”.
