POLITICS AND PAIN
Policies driven by politics from personate Politicians
Is a crescendo of egregiousness with incomprehensible machinations,
This criminous caprice creates devastating crudity
That “numbs” all the moral senses of humanity

Looking at the world today
Can we really say?
Are our Leaders right?
Or are they mildew and blight?

How many more must die in vain?
Leaving behind hearts drowned in pain,
Suffering falls on children, the helpless and poor
Whilst cronyism becomes more and more

Would this evil satire come to an end?
Would Politician’s conscience ever cause them to bend?
But God is the final arbiter of all mankind
Someday, He’ll rescue the poor, the helpless and the blind!

See the spider’s web, and behold in it a most suggestive picture of hypocritically following religion, whilst being distant from God. Religious rituals like the spider’s web is meant to catch his prey: Foolish persons are easily entrapped by the loud profession of pretenders, and even the more judicious cannot always escape. Custom, reputation, praise, advancement, and other flies, are the small games which hypocrites (Politicians) take in their nets. A spider’s web is a marvel of skill: Look at it and admire the cunning hunter’s wiles. Is not a deceiver’s religion (Politician’s Policies) equally wonderful? How does he make so barefaced a lie appear to be a truth? O my soul, be thou resting on something better than the spider’s web, make my Lord Jesus thine eternal hiding-place.
