SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS, MORALITY AND WE THE PEOPLE
To a
more loving and peaceful world for our children
What has
happened to our country? this blessed land Did we
put God second and trust in this verdant audacious
man? Is it pride that caused us to think that we
are better than others? And is this so because we
possess such munitions of horror?
Why
do we believe that we have a monopoly on morality?
Despite our actions that are repugnant to other's
society, We feel such pain when our own are
wounded or killed because we care But for others
we have no penitents for their pangs and tear
Are
we disillusioned that military might makes us always
right? When we know that all things are always in
God's sight, Subsequent to our 225th birthday we
are hated so viciously And is it due to
complacency we blame it on jealousy?
Biological,
chemical, WMD, are the reasons we went to war
Nothing found, thousands killed and millions worst
than the poor, Yet "We the People" continue to
support this oligarchy's actions Knowing that
retribution brings the certainty of self-destruction
How can "We the People' be so
conscious about right and wrong? Yet condone
140,000 troops occupation because we are strong,
It is time that democracy and economic reform begin
at home And stop squandering our blessings and
leave others alone...

"Napoleon Bonaparte - quest for conquest lead him at one
point in his life to say:- 'Conquest, made me what I am, and
conquest must maintain me.' Perhaps, our President should
say, 'Fear upon the American people made me Presidential and
a strong leader, and their continued fear is what will
maintain me'."
