SOWING AND REAPING - PART
3 OF 4
To a
"precarious" world in a most "precarious
predicament"!
Disenfranchisement
of the people, the court put my heir on the
throne
This was an opportunity to be sure and pick
Saddam's bone,
The world was at peace and prosperity was on
the boom
But we are from the Wild West, so it was
time for high-noon
Despite
despotism in so many places that threatened
world peace
We must tinker with no one but Saddam in the
Middle-East,
Korea's challenge with jet fighters to our
reconnaissance plane
We brushed it off, exclaiming that those
axis are nothing but vain
Now
that we are in power, it was time for the
United Nations hour
We demanded a resolution that Saddam must
honor,
Amazed, we saw unfettered access and
reasonable cooperation
Iraq's Al Sammouds missiles, more than half
in ruin and destruction
I
said to my heir, the resolution was not
supposed to work
He promised to contend that Saddam's
cooperation was a joke,
My son it is not peace we must have but
rather war with that man
Because the pride I lost in 1992 was the
fault of Saddam
Take
the road to Baghdad in the name of
ministrations and liberations
For who will dare stop this sole's power
intentions,
We have the most sophisticated weaponry and
best trained marines
All Saddam has is his republican guards and
the Fedayeens...

Author's Comments:
"Far be it from us to approve as right those
inhumane methods whereby many up to now have sought
to force such people to accept our faith, denying
them food, warmth and life's commonest amenities,
and persecuting them with fire and sword.' [John
Calvin]"
