THEY ARE GONE!

"To the Great Leaders of the Past"
Martin Luther 1483-1546 faced death to deny God or please man
"I can do no other", he said, "but stand with my God and trust his right hand"
John Bunyan offered freedom to stop preaching about the Almighty
"I will remain in prison all my days" he exclaimed! "lest they make a butcher of me"

Socrates stood firmly for the "truth" and denied hypocrisy
They made him drink "hemlock" having no mercy,
Mohandas Gandhi this "frail" Indian leader
Without violence, freed his nation from the British Empire

Abraham Lincoln, never said God was on his side
But humbly hoped, that God's words in him abide,
Martin Luther King when there was no hope in sight
With no anger, but humility - all people got Civil-Rights

John F. Kennedy "missiles of October" threat of world destruction
With conviction he saved the world from "nuclear" annihilation,
Let us not forget Truman and Roosevelt
Humble men, with no greed for power or wealth

These Barnabas' - Sons of consolation and exhortation
All gone, no one like them, thus we live in tribulation...

"I believe that these great men all gone, understood that humility "is" man's greatest strength. They were fully cognizant that strength supplied by the Almighty, is meant for service, and not for boasting and wantonness. "They were Paschal Lambs with loins "girth"."
